Revolutionary Filter Wheel Option
VectorBeam searchlights can be fitted with an internal housed filter wheel mechanism which can accommodate up to 6 selectable filters which have been specifically developed for the high-powered VectorBeam, including:

 

·          -White 380-780nm

·          -IR range of filters to suit your requirements from 780nm to 1100nm in

     cluding IR >720nm (Red Glow) & IR >800nm (Covert)   

·          -Green 530nm (40nm bandwidth) Blue 450nm (100nm bandwidth)

 

     Other wavelengths on request (including Amber, 480 - 500nm bandwidth)

 

Robust Arc with Instant Restart
The VectorBeam’s extremely robust xenon short-arc lamp does not require cooling time prior to restart. Therefore the powerful beam is available at all times in any given situation. Violent shocks as experienced in various mobile applications are not a problem for the VectorBeam lamp.

 

Smaller size
The overall miniaturization of the electronics and optical assembly means that the VectorBeam is considerably smaller and up to 5 times lighter than any other comparable technology in the marketplace. Not only does this make the unit far more portable but it also increases fuel efficiency in some applications.

 

Proprietary lens assembly
At the heart of the VectorBeam technology is its proprietary lens configuration. The result is a beam profile with uniform intensity across the whole beam spot (no black hole at the centre of vision), thus delivering an even more effective beam. The result, is a beam which illuminates the target more effectively.

 

Patented Power Supply
Using proprietary, patented power supply technology, the VectorBeam keeps electrical consumption to a minimum, potentially reducing operating costs and increasing power efficiency.

 

Modulation Capability
The VectorBeam’s ability to modulate the lamp’s arc allows the device to be used as a communication tool as well as a less-than-lethal weapon (strobing).
