Binoculars That Takes
Pictures
With the touch of a button these 8X magnification binoculars
capture a digital picture of what you are viewing for easy long range
snapshots. This ingenious device eliminates the need to carry both binoculars
and a camera to sporting events, piano recitals, or weekend bird watching.
The binocular/camera unit is always in focus, so there’s never any need to
make minute lens adjustments. The fixed focal length of the lenses makes the
device optimal for viewing and taking pictures of objects at a distance of 50
feet or more, so there is no need for the extra bulk of a flash, which is
otherwise ineffective beyond 15 feet. The camera has a variable speed shutter
and automatically measures the amount of ambient light when taking a
photograph, adjusting shutter speed accordingly so you don’t have to. White
balance control ensures strong color fidelity so that photos stored in memory
are bright and color true. 8 MB of memory can store up to 40 photos at very
high resolution (640 x 480) or 100 photos at low resolution (320 x 240).
Photos can easily be downloaded to your PC with a USB connection (cable and
software included) so images can easily be edited or e-mailed. Comes with
protective carrying case and neck strap. Operates on two AAA batteries
(included). PC requirements: Windows 98/2000/Me/XP and 200 MHz processor or
faster. 2 1³5" H x 3 1³2" W x 4 1³2" L. (7 oz.)
