Description/Features
· Disposable Toxicological Agent Protective Suit (DTAPS™) · Tested with the U.S. Army's TOP 10-2-022 man-in-simulant test · Provides protection against dual-use industrial chemicals, chemical warfare agents, and biological warfare agents · Level A Suit is constructed with DuPont's Tychem® LV material · Material delivers a superior chemical barrier combined with physical strength, durability, and enhanced comfort and flexibility · Level A Suit is designed for use in short-duration missions where the greatest level of skin, respiratory, and eye protection is required · Designed for one operational use, if Level A Suit passes a visual inspection and a suit pressure test, the responsible safety professional may approve use of the suit for subsequent HAZMAT operations · Suit must be disposed of after any toxic chemical exposure (liquid or vapor) · Tychem LV material is protective against GA, GB, GD, HD, L & VX, bacteria, protozoans, rickettsia, toxins, and viruses · Duration of protection is over 8 hours for most chemicals · A commercial operating/instruction manual is supplied
